October 8 Australian Roadshow

In May 2025, Dor delivered a six-day national roadshow of October 8—a documentary exploring antisemitism on campuses and the role of social media in accelerating hate.

Across 11 screenings in four states, the program brought together leaders from government, universities, business, media and philanthropy, alongside students and community members. It engaged senior university leadership from ten institutions, creating space for direct, high-level dialogue on campus culture and responsibility.

Each screening combined the film with panel discussions featuring Director Wendy Sachs and US student leaders, grounding global insights in an Australian context. By intentionally engaging non-Jewish audiences, the roadshow broadened understanding of how antisemitism is evolving, particularly through digital platforms.

The impact extended beyond the events, with a national release and livestream screenings significantly expanding reach. The program strengthened cross-sector relationships and continues to inform conversations on leadership, culture and coordinated responses to antisemitism in higher education.

A national documentary roadshow engaging leaders, students and influencers on the rising threat of antisemitism in Australia.

“This is much bigger than the Jewish community. This is much bigger than the state of Israel.

This is about all of us.”
